Tim Caudill's main goal when he is on the stream with a customer is to make sure that person is enjoying the time on the water. It is his philosophy that fly fishing should be a fun and relaxing sport above all else.

Aside from fly fishing and guiding, Tim is a professional fly tyer. He enjoys creating custom orders based on the streams' entomology and the time of year during which a customer will be fishing.

Tim's 30 year fly fishing experience extends from Maine to Montana for trout and into British Columbia for steelhead. As an archaeologist, he has the opportunity to travel all over the United States, and this allows him to experience new fly fishing waters often. He has spent the majority of his career in central Pennsylvania fishing for trout in the many world-renowned limestone spring creeks in that area. He has fished with authors such as Don Holbrook (Midge Magic). In 2003, Tim moved to Ohio, and it wasn't long after that that he first tried his hand at Lake Erie steelheading. After that first trip, he knew that fly fishing for Lake Erie steelhead was something special. He has spent long hours since then studying these fish and the waters where they migrate, and has a passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge. He truly enjoys taking anglers, from beginners to experts, to these waters to hook up on the fish of their lifetime.

Tim began fishing at a very young age with his father. In 1974, at only 10 years old, he began fly fishing for blue gill in his grandfather's pond in Kentucky. Growing up in nearby West Virginia, he vividly remembers going to his grandfather's on many weekends to fish. This started an obsession that has only grown with time.
